Data Collection
The QRSpell app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app does not include analytics, advertising, tracking, telemetry, or crash-reporting SDKs.
Screen Recording Permission
QRSpell uses macOS Screen Recording permission only to capture visible screen content for QR code detection. Screen content is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to a server.
Scan Results And History
QR code results and scan history are stored locally on your Mac. The developer cannot access this local history.
Clipboard And Notifications
QRSpell may copy scan results to the clipboard when clipboard behavior is enabled or when you choose a copy action. QRSpell may also show local macOS notifications when notification behavior is enabled.
Network Use
QRSpell does not send scan data to any server. If you open a detected URL, macOS opens it in your default browser or associated app, outside QRSpell.

This policy may be updated when QRSpell changes its features or data practices. The latest version will be published on this page.
